LAKE NONA SURROGACY ATTORNEY
For most couples, the idea of having their own child is not one that they have to spend a lot of time considering, it’s a natural process. That process however, for some couples is just not that simple. Science has come a long way to provide alternative methods to having children when the natural process just won’t work.
At the Law Office of Sorondo Bonham, we join in a couple’s joy as they move into making their dream a reality through gestational surrogacy. We will work with the intended parents or the surrogate as they move forward on their journey. Our firm is sensitive to your needs and we believe in educating our clients throughout the process.
Our staff is experienced in both drafting and reviewing gestational surrogacy contracts and finalizing that family through an Affirmation of Parental Status when baby makes three.
REPRESENTATION OF THE INTENDED PARENTS
In representing the Intended or Commissioning Parents, we will initiate the drafting of the agreement with the gestational carrier and make sure that the contract is in place before the fertility process takes place. The details are critical as the contract covers a host of issues including the intent of the agreement, medical disclosures, reimbursements and parental rights. We will also prepare all of the legal documents necessary to affirm the intended parents’ parental rights after the birth.
REPRESENTATION OF THE SURROGATE
The surrogate also needs representation in having the agreement reviewed by an independent attorney. Maytel Bonham will personally review the agreement in a timely manner and make sure the surrogate knows what her role and rights are in helping a family in their journey to having children.
